Teacher-child interaction, a process with mutual influence between teachers and children, is essential to teaching activities since target and proposition of teaching must be realized in teacher-child interaction.Teacher-child interaction barrier means the hurdle appeared in teaching activities, violating the intention of teachers. It is common phenomenon troubled teachers in their teaching activities. And the research on those issues may improve teacher’s capability in teacher-child interaction and enhance the teaching quality.Through observation, interview and documentary research, the author conducted research on the teacher-child interaction barrier, quantitatively and qualitatively, discussing and analysing the status quo, core issue, reason, and improving strategy on above problem. The research includes four sectors.Firstly, introduction includes the core issue, relevant research, concept definition and methodology.Next are status quo and analysis on the teacher-child interaction barrier in kindergarten. Observing the teacher-child interaction and its barriers in teaching activities, the author analysed and summarized the frequency, core issue, categories of the teacher-child interaction barrier. The author also highlighted the main problems in teacher-child interaction barrier:imbalance between teachers and children, target-orientation of teachers and the inefficiency of the interaction.Furthermore, author also sought the reasons for teacher-child interaction barrier from traditional culture, quality of teachers, characteristics and performance assessment of teaching activities.At last, solution strategies.According to the analysis of teacher-children interactive obstacle, the researcher have proposed the following suggestions:(1) The administrative department of education implements relevant policies to ensure the subject status of the children;(2) Kindergarten should implement assessment mechanism to ensure the teacher-children interaction quality, (3) Kindergarten should organize the training about teacher-children interaction, (4) Teachers should reflect on interactive obstacle situation, cultivate the spirit of dialogue, improve the ability to interact with children.
