Composition teaching is an important part of Chinese teaching, which is a valid way to train students’ quality and ability of writing expression. As composition can reflect one’s overall quality, language teaching researchers and Chinese teachers have always attached great importance to composition teaching. And it has been recognized and researched in a highly way of how people survive, saying that "an article reflects the thoughts and personality of the writer". It can be said that composition teaching determines the success of the whole language education.This article believes that writing is the experience of life. Usually, life is the basic way to breed and produce great works of art. Although a student composition is different from the creation of the writer, writing is also inseparable from their lives. Based on a profound understanding of the New Curriculum, which says "Writing should be with sincere feelings, and students have to express their own feelings and experience of nature, society and life", progress step by step writing pedagogy is proposed from the teaching reality in junior high school, to solve students’ problem of "how to write" from the angle of "what to write", as well as to try to make some exploration in both theory and practice of composition teaching in middle school. And the article is carried on from the following five parts. Namely:first, to write their own experience and express their own feelings; second, to transfer their feelings to the objects through describing the natural scenery; third, to care about social life and make their thinking way creative; Fourth, to emphasize on the teaching of practical writing and improve the practical writing ability; fifth, to combine composition and activities to make composition teaching "active". As far as, composition teaching in middle school should focus on the student life, let students have a unique understanding of the daily expression and behavior according to their self-experience and the natural scenery they watch, develop the habit of writing practical composition in daily life and improve their overall quality.
