In this study, the Tibetan grade school as the object, the aim is to understand the stereotype threat would be the field of Tibetan middle school students’identity and self affirmation of the two aspects of the impact. The main purpose of the two is through the control instruction, test start stereotype threat, whether it will affect the individual self affirmation scores.The results of experiment two showed that:(1) Stereotype threat, the Tibetan students self affirmation effects. Under the English stereotype threat, the Tibetan students in learning to lower their self-evaluation, and more to evaluate own style of art features of self affirmation. (2) In the self affirmation, the Tibetan students in personality traits that self evaluation is relatively stable, subject to stereotype threat, the Tibetan students tend to change other aspects of self evaluation to maintain self-esteem, and evaluation of the personality trait is almost no change in the.Which has important theoretical value and practical significance of the research. Ethnic stereotype threat has the main influence on the minority students in career development, in order to avoid the ethnic stereotype threat and affect their academic performance, it is necessary to study the ethnic stereotype threat to minority students, and understand the ethnic stereotype threat and its influence on academic field of identity and self affirmation, let a few the national students reduce restriction, all-round development. This thesis is focused on the ethnic stereotype threat effect on the field of Tibetan middle school students’identity and self affirmation, to the national minority area teacher, put forward opinions and suggestions for reference for education and teaching.
