| With the rapid development of China’s economy and the acceleration of the process of cities, more and more rural work force goes to cities for a living, they form a large number of population of migrant workers. Their children follow them to come to the cities. How these children accept fair education has become a concern issues of the people’s livelihood. The Communist Party of China and government are paying more and more attention to this issue which is being solved step by step. The children of migrant workers have chances to receive compulsory education. This ensures that they can receive compulsory education routine from the national level. Because of the influence of family factors, parents’ comprehensive qualities, the habits formation at a young age and the differences between teaching materials, the habits and grades of children of migrant workers are not satisfactory. From the school level, through the educational practice, we should analyze and summarize the existing experience of education and teaching management on the children of migrant workers to help them receive good education and cultivate good character and excellent cultural achievements. We can promote their all-round development in the end. It is the best embodiment of fair education and high-quality education and it is also the development standpoint of schools. Nanjing is receiving more and more migrant workers’children to get public compulsory school education, the effective management of them has a far-reaching significance to ensuring that they receive high-quality education and promote their growth. The writer carried out a research based on C junior high school in the suburb of Nanjing by interviewing the teachers in C junior high school, the children of migrant workers and their parents and conducting a survey of questionnaire among them. The paper forms a systematical research in theory by analyzing the status of migrant workers’children’s learning and habits and combining the specific practical measures of C middle school. The writer hopes that this study will help improve the effectiveness of public schools in the education of children of migrant workers, help the children of migrant workers receive high-quality education to develop good habits and achieve excellent results, so that they can integrate into the cities and communities easily and better; the migrant children school should discover news measures and methods to meet the migrant children’s personnel features through education practice and exploration and set up rules and regulations which meet the situation of students and schools and to achieve social recognition and form a virtuous circle of development. Education for children of migrant workers in cities is not one-sided thing of schools, can’t be solved by only one teacher, the schools should form a full moral education concept among all the teachers, integrate social forces, strengthen links between schools and families, form the resultant educational force with their parents, actively explore new ideas and new methods of family education and school education to promote migrant workers children’s healthy growth and all-round development. |
