| Along with the development in economic society and urbanization, as the demand for labor growing surge, a large number of migrant workers swarm into cities.As the city’s vulnerable groups, their life, work and education has been widely focused on. According to literature reviewing, the focus on children of migrant workers area is more on the development of compulsory education of children of migrant workers than the pre-school development of minority children of migrant workers. The focus on pre-school issues of minority children of migrant workers is benefit to promoting the pre-school equity, also to the harmonious development of society. Taking Guiyang city as an example, this research has adopted empirical research methods, like questionnaires and unstructured interviewing method, to research following three parts of the minority children of migrant workers : the current situation of pre-school education, it’s issues and reasons. Then the attempted solutions to promote the equity development of pre-school education for the minority children of migrant workers. Through data systematic analysis, six related questions are found as follow: lack of education policy, unequal in chance for kindergarten, high pre-school fees, lag of kindergarten’s infrastructure, families’ educational backwardness,and low social awareness. The reasons are imperfection of education system, the household registration system, the influence of the gap between urban and rural development, minority migrant workers’ economic constraints, etc. In order to improve minority migrant workers’ family conditions and pre-school conditions of minority children of migrant workers, I think establish and improve the related policy laws and regulations, deepen the reform of the household registration system, narrow the gap between urban and rural development, strengthen the management of the kindergarten, improve the conditions of minority migrant workers family education.Then, promote the “identical treatment" enjoyed by the children of migrant workers,and urban public education can access to migrant workers’ children as sunshine, so as to provide a strong impetus to accelerate the pace of urbanization.This paper is divided into five parts with more than forty thousand words. It isfinally revealed that the practical fundamental solution to the problems of minority children of migrant workers need the help of government, society, schools and families to work together. |
