Network-based Database Technology Curriculum Design, And Production

Web-based instruction is the effective method and necessary tendency to develop modem education. It has the important functions on sharing education resource , expanding scale , raising efficiency and constructing lifelong education system. This thesis brings up the methods and principles of designing and creating web-based , rses based on database technology. Making the course from processing contents to sharing resources of the course.There are three parts in this thesis.Part One: Presenting the condition and problems of web-based courses in China. Up to now, the Ministry of Education has approved of 45 universities to setup web-based education colleges, organized nearly 300 courses. But most of the courses existed antiquated contents , lacking for feedback and unsatisfactory searching functions and so on problems. Therefore it must use high technical method to redesign web-based course.Part two: Analyzing the characters and solutions of network database system. By summing up the large information, high sharing, structure-* easing to expand characters of the database, and having the similar characters with the web-based course, we bring up the necessity of combining the database and web-based course. And introduce kinds of databases and solution proposals to creating courses.Part three: According to the modern education theories and design principles, we bring up the web-based course design principles and methods from course contents, structure, teaching environments, individual design, management of resource databases and so on. And according to the "Teacher Continue Education Web Site - Computer basic and Network knowledge" course, the thesis explains the design principles and realizing methods. Finally, it brings up the announcements of database design of web-based course.
