With the development of social constructivism, more and more attention has been paid to affective factors in education. Affect education as one of the necessary sections of ability education has played an important part in the overall development of the students. But in the past, more attention was paid to the development of knowledge and intelligence of the students in foreign language learning and teaching. The students' affects were ignored. Thus, it could not adequately stimulate the students' learning potential and interests. The students' imagination and creation were restricted.The thesis analyzes the current situation of affect education in our learning society, based on social-constructivism. It points out the value of affect education in foreign language learning and teaching. Several suggestions on how to carry out affect education are put forward.
