IT's integration into curriculum has always been highlighted in the course of education informationalization and in the new round curriculum reform of primary education in China. However, the understanding of its notion has mostly constrained to the application of IT in the teaching activities, which to considerable extents equals to the application of IT in the teaching activities.With the advance development of IT integrated into curriculum, the understanding of its notion has been found to be quite narrower and less exact than it should be, which make it is difficult to grasp the term's complete and multilayer influence exacted on the curriculum.The essay begins with an analysis of the existing expatiation of IT integrated into curriculum, then the author concludes and counter-considers the misleading understanding of the term in the current IT integrated into curriculum practice under the guidance of the constructivism theory , postmodernism theory and multiple intelligence theory. After this, the author expounds how to reunderstand the term on the view of curriculum itself from the following aspects. Firstly, changes on the goal, the content and the teaching methodology of curriculum when IT is integrated into curriculum. Secondly, changes happened on the students' cognitive learning environment, cognitive ideation and learning methods when IT has been widely applied,and changes have been brought to the curriculum. Finally, what culture influence has brought into the curriculum on the prevailing information literacy environment .The author tries to understand IT integrated into curriculum omnidirectionally in order to extend the meaning of notion beyond the limited comprehension of it only from the point of view of technology.
