The development of the society requires the comprehensive persons. Chemistry,as one of the basic subjects, sustains the task of training the students with thecomprehensive abilities. This is ability dues to the Chemistry Teaching Strategy. Buttraditional teaching exist some limitations, which affects the students to develop thecomprehensive abilities. Therefore there will be some theoretical and practicalsignificance to cultivate the students' chemistry teaching and research.The paper attempts to combine theory with practical, not only to expound theconcept of the comprehensive capacity in theory, but make investigations in the teachinginstructional strategies.The first part of this thesis, mainly introduces the background, the significance,the aim and the mission of the study.The second part of this thesis, which includes the definition of thecomprehensive and teaching strategy, contains the basic theory of the study of thissubject.The third part contains the strategy of the Chemistry teaching of cultivating thestudents' comprehensive abilities. Firstly, it emphasizes the connection andcomprehension of the knowledge and improves the level of the structural andrecapitulative knowledge. Secondly, Attach importance of the process of teaching;fosterthem scientific teaching tactics and the mode of thinking. Thirdly it develops the studies ofthe independence, cooperation and exploration so that it can stimulate thedevelopment of the students' comprehensive abilities. And finally it strengthens andaccelerates the students' comprehensive abilities.The fourth part deals with the teaching practice. The result of the questionnairesand tests, whose effect are tested and analyzed, shows that the strategy of cultivatingthe students' comprehensive abilities plays a simulative role in forming the students'comprehensive abilities.The fifth part discusses the summaries and expectations. It describes the existedproblems and offers the direction of the study and research for the future.
