Network Ideological And Political Education Environmental Studies

With the increasing development of the network in the 21st century, universities have rapidly entered the cyber age. The network exerts a profound influence on the studying, working and living environment of both the university teachers and students. Thus ideological and political education under the environment of network comes up as a hot issue in the research of university ideological construction. This thesis, Research on the Network Environment of Ideology construction in Universities is rightly carried out in this context. The thesis consists of four parts. Part One, the introduction, is the author's description of the research background, significance, trends, methods, along with the thesis's innovation and structure. Part Two begins with the author's definition of the network environment concept related to the construction of ideology education in universities, which serves as the basis for the research. According to Marx and Engels, man is both the producer and the product of environment, thus, by approach of comparative analysis, this thesis systematically discusses the unparalleled advantages in contrast with the traditional environment for ideology construction in universities and expounds on its relevant concepts and features. In Part 3, the core and key part of the thesis, the author evaluates and analyzes the internal and external factors in the ideology construction under the network environment. Employing SWOT, the thesis evaluates the external environmental factors of universities' network environment in ideology education qualitatively and quantitatively. For the exterior environment, the network's opportunities lie in the unprecedented powerful functions, the fast development, the flexible policy, and the increasing user number while the threats are reflected in the intrusion of network rubbish, the impact of western culture, the weak network link, and the fierce network competition. Meanwhile, for the interior environment, the network's strengths lie in the abundant resource of talents, the good facility, the unblocked channel, and the numerous users of network while the weaknesses are reflected in the poor environmental awareness, the insufficient hardware, the inadequate establishment of mechanism, the lagging behind of corresponding team.
