Normal Colleges And Universities Reasonable Transformation

With the development of social economy, politics and culture, the demand pressures of the basic education of masses change from the satisfaction of the educational opportunity ( Pressure of quantity) to high quality education( Pressure of the quality) . Teacher is most important factor undoubtedly in many impacts. It is very important that normal universities as higher education institution of training teachers cultivate high-quality teachers. Chinese cultivation system which is close, directional can't meet the needs of present basic education any more, however foreign developed countries adopt the open system to train teachers basically. The transitions of normal universities have been discussed and some universities begin to put it into practice. But how to reform rationally, to keep the strength, to improve its competition ability became the new problem to be solved.The thesis is divided into six parts. The development progress and contemporary challenges of the teacher education in our country; how to transit rationally; the sticking point and improvements of the curriculum of our normal universities; explore the model of education exercitation; how to maintain the strengths of the education discipline, to cultivate education master and to construct specialty of elementary school.In the first part, the development progress since late 19th century and contemporary challenges of Chinese teacher education are described. To answer these challenges and decide the methods of transition, we will discuss these problems in a macroscopically view in the second part. Then the third, forth, fifth, sixth part, will describe the solution in a microcosmic view. Then the normal universities will meet the demands of cultivating high-quality teacher and the mass requirements of high-quality education.
