Probability and statistics have been widely used in socio-economy and finance for a long time. Although in sociology most literatures are still characterizing social phenomena qualitatively, along with the deeper and deeper understanding of sociology, more and more sociologists and mathematicians construct appropriate mathematical models in the quantitative research of sociology. They use mathematical theory into sociology and obtain reasonable results. In this pater, I will summarize the development of mathematical sociology, and I also apprise and summarize several mathematical models (especially the Markov Models)which have been applied to quantitative research in sociology. In addition I will also introduce and summarize several important equations which originate from physics and now have been used in sociology, furthermore I will give their concrete form and their stable solutions in a simple social model. Simultaneously I will summrize the develepment of mathematical statistics in sociology. Then I will point out the limitation and difficulties which still exist in mathematical sociology at the present time and I will point out some researches we need to develop and to consummate.
