We are in a period that everything develops stably, however, the uniting of the nation and the harmonization of it would surely influence the whole situation of building the harmonious society. The study of the minority high education expressed the spirit of taking care of the weak group such as the minority and paying attention to harmonious society. This text studied the entrance policy of the American minority high school from the aspect of the Affirmative Action, and tries to summarize a way which is according with our nation's minority. However, the special study of the Affirmative Action has not formed any system, so the systemic discussion of it will enlighten our study in the future.The whole text comments and analyzes the study for four parts on the basis of a large quantity of the original materials. Firstly, I analyzed the background. I analyzed the policy of the American minority and the relation of it in details by the time. Then the analyzing of the extreme inequality situation of the minority high education accelerates the coming of the Affirmative Action.The second chapter discusses the beginning, development and the process of changing of the Affirmative Action. Besides, it makes the contents which are related to the minority high education as the clue to run through the whole developments of the Affirmative Action and alsodiscusses the influence and the achievements of the Affirmative Action.In the chapter three, I regard the recent development of the Affirmative Action. The author explores four theories as the supporter that are compensating theory, anti-discrimination theory and the demonstration theory. Besides, it also summarizes the basis of existence, development and the extinguishment of Affirmative Action. At the same time, it edits many recent materials according to the misunderstanding and the reason why there are so many different dissents and also predicates the future of it.At the last chapter, we talk aboua a summarize about the different between Affirmative Action and the Policy in China.The contributions of the text are: in contrast with the related materials in our country, it uses many recent and detailed foreign materials to semantically discuss the reason and consequences especially the recent development and dispute of the Affirmative Action. I hope it will be a reference in our country. The conclusion and analyzing of the basis of the policy could be used for reference for the study of the minority high education.
