Our country has performed the new high school curriculum reform for three years. Up to now ten provinces have undertaken this great attempt. They are shandong, Guangzhou ,Hainan, Ningxia ,Jiangshu ,Liaoning Tianjin ,Anhui ,Zheijing and Fujian. On the premise of the same curriculum standard, the ministry of education permits and encourages the different areas to choose and compile senior high school textbooks which are fit for different situations. This not only makes physics education improved but also promotes our chines qualities on all sides. So the competition of different types of textbooks will appear., leading to the appearance of high quality textbooks. But in this situation it is unavoidable that different textbooks turn up and teachers and students feel hard to choose. It is known that there are 32 publishing houses publishing 59 types of textbooks. Textbooks are the basic important, most representative and main curriculum resources. Textbooks should be strictly directed by the new curriculum reform theory, taking both learning and teaching into consideration. My article selects two types of physics textbooks published just before and after the new curriculum reform. In my article I adapted comparison theory assessment and analysis theory combined with case and textbook analysis. I seek to find similarities and differences, advantage and disadvantage systematically with this I hope to give some suggestions for schools and other relevant departments to compile and choose textbooks. At the same time I also hope to help teachers better understand new curriculum theory and adapt to the new challenge of new curriculum reform.The thesis includes four partsFirstly(ch.1) understand the curriculum reform thoroughly indicate the problems of physics education in china and realize the significance and challenge of physics textbook reformSecondly(ch2-3) acording to the theoretic researcn and printed articles construct comparison framework to improve students'ability on all sidesThirdly(ch4) analyze the mentioned two types of textbooks objectively and find their advantages and disadvantagesFinally (Ch4) according to the above analysis give some advice on how teachers should adapt to new curriculum and make suggestions on textbook compilatin and selection of our country...
