The article initially made a study on improving the ability of students to post mathematical problems in the teaching of plane geometry,First,I summarized the status quo of this study at home and abroad,pointed out the significance of improving the ability of students to post mathematical problem in the plane geometric teaching. Second,set forth the theoretical bases on it. Third , investigated the cases that junior high school students posted mathematical problem in the study of plane geometry through questionnaires. Forth, summed up the basic ways of improving this ability. Fifth, made an experimental study on the effects of"question—context"teaching mode and on this basis.By focusing on the following issues:1.The status quo and significance to develop the middle school students′ability of posting mathematical problem. This status quo of study abroad:posting mathematical problem is considered only as effective or better means of solving problems;research on the relationship between posting and solving a problem;make"question"as relatively independent mathematical ability. The status quo of domestic study:Most of the studies are still on the status quo research, methods to explore, the importance of asking problem and careful designs made by teacher to guide students to answer. The significance of the study::Benefit the basic education curriculum reform;Perfect the entire process of questioning in classroom;Help students to develop the habits of self-study;Improve the teaching effect;Promote the social development of students. 2.The definition of the concept:Mathematical context:the environment which we engaged in the mathematical activities and the conditions of mathematical behaviors. According to the information provided, we can find out the inner relationship between quantity relations and their space forms, explore the perfect methods to post and solve mathematical problem by imagination,association,analog and reflection. Mathematical problem: the information (including objectives,tasks,conditions,links,etc) posted subjectively or objectively often guided by some goals and needed processing. Characterized by:mathematical problem should normally include: the premise and the conclusion, the principles and the bases of solving problems, the methods and the channels;Performance of the various forms: It may be a conclusion needed checking or a question needed answering;or the phenomenon explained by math, or a group of date needed handling ,and so on. The ability of posting mathematical problems including : The ability to observe, analyze and summarize the mathematical context;The ability to comprehend the context;The ability to question, guess the mathematical context;The ability to express using mathematical language;The ability to post some mathematical problem from the context given by teacher;The ability to change the forms of original mathematical problems and to make a new question;The ability to reflect the question solved before.3.Use of the questionnaire testing-investigating the situation on question- asking of junior high school students by analysis,conversation,excommunication with mathematical teachers. And the results were analyzed. We can make a conclusion from the analysis:Students can more accurately understand the value of"to post mathematical problem";Students mainly post mathematical problem from the perspective of conventional solutions;From students′ability to post mathematical problem, we can get that innovational spirit and practical ability are needed.4 . The basic ways to improve students the ability of bringing up mathematical problem:To create mathematical context carefully;To develop the mathematical thinking of students.5. According to the experiment, the"question—context"teaching mode can help students improve the ability of posting mathematical problems.
