Building teacher group is the insurance of improving educational quality. Teaching revolution proves that a high-quality teacher group is the key factor of teaching revolution. Teacher evaluation is either the important part of school management or the acceleration of teacher's personal development. However, teacher evaluation in practice is far away from the theory of teacher evaluation: Most of teachers are unsatisfied with the process, content and result of teacher evaluation. As one of the management methods, teacher evaluation emphasizes only things not person, neglecting teacher's being and value. Modern educational theory emphasizes subject and personality of human beings, so does the teacher' train. says: Build the evaluation system that mainly consists of teachers, headmaster, students and parents. Make teachers get information from all aspects, improve their teaching skills constantly. Teachers are known their selves most. Teachers as the subject of evaluation can give full play to the initiatives of teachers and changes the passive situation of teachers. Meanwhile, self-evaluation can improve the duty, self-conscious and reflection of teacher. Our research starts with the present situation of teacher evaluation, and then analyzes teacher's self-evaluation both from theory and practice, and tries to build the system of teaching self-evaluation, at last, puts forward some proposal about teacher's self-evaluation.The thesis consists of four parts:The first chapter deals with the related documents of teacher's evaluation, analyzes the results of researches, and finds the disadvantages of researches, focuses on the theme of our research. The second part gives the definition that related to our research. Analyze teacher evaluation from aim, subject, content, and result. Find problems of teacher evaluation enforcement, and put forward proposal. Moreover, analyze the difficulties of teacher self-evaluation enforcement- that is lacking of the system of teacher self-evaluation. The third part of the thesis is centered with teaching self-evaluation. Try to build the system of teaching self-evaluation by questionnaires, main-factors analyses, and expert evaluating method. The research hopes to provide effective proposal for teaching self-evaluation. The last parts of our research put forward some proposals from the concepts, methods, and techniques of teacher self-evaluation.I hope other researchers can do with this as a turning point, and I do what little I can to help in the theory and practice of teacher self-evaluation so as not to make teacher self-evaluation become a mere formality. |
