The earliest object of research in mathematics education is students'errors. And teachers'attitude toward errors is very important in it.The purpose of study is to show primary teachers'attitude toward pupils'mathematical errors. A questionnaire including three components of attitude was used to survey 250 teachers. Then SPSS tool was employed for data analysis. At last 3 teachers were chosen to be interviewed. Major findings and conclusions are as follows:The teachers'attitude is less positive; Teachers attribute errors mainly to the pupils , then teacher themselves and knowledge; teachers are not fond of pupils'errors, but they admit the value of errors; teachers take errors as a teaching and learning resources, but have little chance to communicate with students about errors. There are three main attitude modes. Modeâ… is low-level cognition, positive affections and positive behavior tendencies. Modeâ…¡is high-level cognition, less positive affections and behavior tendencies, negative behavior. Modeâ…¢is low-level cognition, negative affections, negative behavior tendencies and behavior.Inferential statistical analysis revealed that teachers'attitude of errors is mainly associated with teaching experiences, class size and teacher's status. And the attendance of a specialized course in mathematics also affects teachers'attitude.
