Generally speaking,worthwhile activities should be targeted. Although consciousness have not yet been thoroughly studied in the academic community,and understanding of the concept often with the fuzzy, but design consciousness is one of the main purposes in "design·Application" areas of study in compulsory education,we need to reach some consensus,so that design teaching does not lose direction.The design of this study is different from the sense of artistic design and professional design consciousness,it is actively draw in the essence of the design consciousness in professional design,at the same time,in the face of this special group of students,close to basic education classes,but also face to talents on the quality requirements of the constantly updated and proposed in modern society,namely:pupils in the primary and middle school through the study of the basic knowledge,the basic design skills and the basic character with both practical and aesthetic,as well as the relationship in design and people,and nature, and social,then formed idea and thinking to guide them Appreciate and create design work.Design-conscious in these days means that to design you are sensitive,and good at observing and identifying problems through design point of view;to innovation you are impulse,which can understand the value of artificiality,the value of innovation,and find a way to solve problem,to harmony you are pursuer,can be people-oriented,caring, concerned about the environment,uphold the principle of resolving the problem.In this paper,make the interpretation of the importance of training designed awareness from the educational value of traditional and modern design and cultural perspective,and introduced the methods and design theory to cultivate awareness by DIY,as well as through classroom teaching methods such as design critics,I hope that these methods and theoretical study can help more people to understand the basis of art education in foster awareness of design-related issues.
