Geometry is the most common and long-standing history in the mathematics education.If mathematics is the similar disciplines of basis education in most countries,geometry is the biggest different part of the mathematics curriculum. One important reason of forming diversity geometry curriculum versions is that the understanding of mathematician to the status and role of geometry in the mathematics curriculum is inconsistent to mathematics educators.With the development of modern mathematics and curriculum promoting,it increased,even to the degree of confrontation.This situation has also affected the setup and geometry curriculum reform,which made the change frequency of geometry curriculum of all countries highly.As far as the former Soviet Union AA Shituolieer math educators concerned that the problem of teaching geometric is still the one of the issues most complex in modernization middle of mathematics education.In recent years,the promoting of geometric lesson is most sensitive in Chinese mathematics education curriculum reform and the response was largest.It is not only the problems of the recognition of the mathematics education to geometry,but also the problems of many first line mathematics teachers' cognition to teaching geometry.But in many case the importance of geometry courses are agreed,so the reform of geometry teaching is attracted.From this paper,we can see the nature of geometry,the significance of geometry curriculum and the trend and status of the reform,through the review of historical data and the reform process of modern geometric courses in order.It will be the available work to the geometry teachers.
