First of all , the paper elaborates the concept of the curriculum, the the curriculum reform, curriculum and university curriculm . Points out that the concept of curriculum refers to the concept about the phenomenon and problems on the curriculum and to a certain degree the concept is subject to political and economic system and the level of knowledge , and the psychology , sociology, philosophy, knowledge, and the study of ideology and so on, it has the historic and the times characters. I think that the concept of curriculum is divided into macro, meso and micro three levels , and that the concept of curriculum and the educational philosophy have the coordination relations. First of all, the curriculum reform is the concept of curriculum changes, curriculum changes have taken place in philosophy and practice for the needs of the curriculum reform, the curriculum reform is imperative. In the current time, the social resources is not enough to assign freely, the curriculum reform will inevitably lead to social redistribution of resources, so the curriculum reform is not a single aspect of the reform of society, it is the operation of the entire social system.After the defination of the concept of curriculum and the curriculum reform , the paper elaborates the role which the concept of the curriculum plays in the curriculum reform. Pointed out that the concept of curriculum has a guide for curriculum reform, assessment, regulation and recognition functions. Also think that with the current curriculum reform going further, the curriculum reform calls for the change of the concept of the curriculum.On this basis, the author analysis Fudan Univerity and Harvard University in the curriculum change and curriculum reform, which summed up the experience and the problems raised by them, and compared with them. The curriculum reform which is currently implemented in China, is lack of theoretical support, administrative support, with the result that the concept of curriculum reform can not be carried out faithfully in the process of curriculum reform .In the last part the author forecast the trends of curriculum reform and the change of concept on curriculum . The concept of curriculum is gradually showing the trend of localization dialogue, the ecology , diversity and post-modern. The trend of curriculum reform has become more autonomous, and the organic system more courses and more diversification of the curriculum, cutting-edge technology, open, dynamic nature. Curriculum implementation tends to take a more research-oriented teaching methods.
