On The Cultivation Of The Spirit Of Contemporary College Students Volunteer

Volunteerism in China was first introduced from foreign countries, which is fast developing on the ideological and social funderment of China for its well meeting of the social development need, tightly following the development of the Chinese people and seizing the opportunity of social transformation. In addition, college students are the main force of volunteer service, and volunteerism is the purpose of voluntary service, therefore the volunteerism cultivation for modern Chinese college students is imperative. The in-depth and comprehensive exploration of cultivating college and university students'volunteer spirit in this paper, both enrich the volunteer spirit and promote the development of voluntary service in China, but also conducive to China-round development of college students with theoretical and practical value.The volunteerism cultivation of the college students is researched in the paper. To well understand of the volunteerism fundamentally and grasp the spirit of volunteerism, the spirit of volunteerism theoretical origin is firstly introduced from both domestic and abroad culture. Foreign volunteerism comes into being from their earnest deep religious and charitable culture, while when it spreads into China, traditional Chinese culture and the time requirement are integrated slowly and involuntarily which finally forms the modern China spirit of volunteerism with bright Chinese characteristics.Secondly, volunteer service examples of foreign and domestic college students volunteer are investigated and analyzed in depth. Practice problems in fostering volunteerism are represented, and successful or failing experiences are summarized. In another word, this section is mainly discussed the practice problems and the learned lessons in real volunteer services.As the saying goes while there is a result there is a reason. Probable reasons for these problems based on the front analyzing are discussed in detail in the third section by investigation and data analyzing.Moreover, for holding better solution to these problems and facilitating volunteerism cultivation, a number of advises and methods are proposed from cultivation principle, content and means after careful analyzing and creative thinking. Finally, the development trend for volunteerism service and spirit is predicted in the paper.The great historical mission will be endowed to the modern Chinese college students for requirements of social and time development, which requires all aspects cultivation such as ideology, behavior etc. to college students to well meet and handle all opportunities and challenges before them, and become the backbones of development and progress of social and era.
