Sexual Minority Groups Living World Construct Research

The rights of LGBT matters should not be forgotten as a dimension in the citizen society constructs, they are the creators of social wealth and cultural wealth. Sociology should be committed to such marginalized groups access to resources, to eliminate social prejudice and social discrimination, so that they can get their discourse resources and the Speech Right. Homosexuality is a unique cultural and social phenomenon, the issue of homosexuality is often studied by sociology, anthropology, history, and other humanities.This thesis uses qualitative research methods, through the equal interaction between researchers and research object, we can get the explanatory understanding of their communication meaning construction. In this thesis, my field site is Lesbian community, my research methods are interviews and participant observation.This thesis uses Critical Methodology and Habermas' Theory of Communicative Action to analyze the process of the colonization of female LGBT matters - lesbian and female bisexual's lifeworld, which shows that there is a mutual interactive effects mechanism between the traditional gender system in cultural history and homosexual subculture, furthermore shows how their lifeworld construct.This thesis analysis and understands the way of how LGBT matters'lifeworld construct, and the formation and existing characteristics of LGBT subculture. It is in order to raise public awareness on LGBT matters, to eliminate social discrimination and social prejudice, fear and hostility, and to appeal that legal policy and social aspects should be given to the marginalized groups for protecting their right, respect for human person, and finally to promote the harmonious development of society.
