| As one of vital means to make our society information, the smart card has been applied in all fields of the industry and our life. The design and development of smart card application system need the combination of computer application, automatic identification, network communication and other relevant technologies. The primary research areas controllers of the smart card system, the design and package of the integrated circuits for the IC card (electronic tag, and the design of its database and application software. Furthermore, the characteristics of the application environment and usage require the embedded technology in the smart card application system.Researching and developing the radio frequency smart card reader is the main interest in this thesis, and embedded technology is taken into it. The writer took the MF RC500 as reading and writing chip, focusing on the design and development about the wireless radio-frequency reader, as well as embedded technology in the use of radio frequency reader application.The reader is designed based on Philips Mifare technology of radio frequency, taking 89S52 processor chip as a master controller which employ MF RC500 radio frequency chip to implement the reading and writing for the frequency of 13.56 MHz RFID reader design and development, meanwhile, using VC++ 6.0 to develop the reader's PC program which is used on in the Windows platform. The embedded technology gets a wide range of application in this design. Researching and transplanting Windows CE.net OS that has been customized to the platform whose core is PXA255 also is one part of this thesis. The module (89S52 as a main chip) was associated with the hardware platform. The programming that is designed by Embedded Visual C++ 4.0 in Windows CE.net paltform is used control the RFID reader, resulting in the achievement of a portable RFID (Radio Frequency Identification) reader. |
