Using the images processing software and the second-development platform to process space remote sensing data have already become an important way to understand all kinds of nature, social phenomenon and distribution rule.In geological prospecting, wall-rock alteration is one of the main signs to find hydrothermal deposits. Using of remote sensing data to extract alteration information had been used since 1970.Although these methods have achieved good results in the extraction of mineral alteration anomalies, they have exposed three problems in the region where is coveraged by a lot of interference information. First, the alteration information which responds different phenomenon under different geological mineralization background condition doesn't participate in the information extraction's flow. Only some references do qualitative theory analysis in the mineralization forecast. Second, it's about interference information processing. Original processing methods impact the integrity and accuracy of the alteration information. Third, previous research never be able to implement alteration information's quantitative extraction really.Therefore, this thesis proposes the process of wall-rock alteration remote sensing unusual information quantitative extraction. In this process, the mineralization information participates in the information extraction through contributing weighting factor. Different interference regions use the different information extraction methods. Quantitative extraction bases on mathematical statistic's. Then above three mentioned problems can be resolved throughly well.Using of ERDAS IMAGINE 9.1 software's Spatial Modeler tool can establish space model, code, remove interference information quickly, achieve mask principal component analysis and other functions. After the conversion of raster image to vector image, using the ArcGIS'deveopkit tool which is based on.net platform, develop an application to achieve "Delete-Islands".Finally, process technique and workflow this paper raises, combining with ETM (Earth Thematic Mapper) and ASTER (Advanced Spaceborn Thermal Emission and reflection Radiometer) remote sensing imagines technology, it has been carried on the demonstration to the prospecting power sub-area to study, and implemented this area iron, hydroxyl alteration remote sensing unusual information's quantitative extraction. Through all demostration field survey result proved that this process has achieved the good effect.
