It is now the fundamental premise to improve the performance of network operations and to enhance the quality of network service in order that the Telecom companies could have the initiative of development and could strengthen their core-competitiveness. As a result, the work of optimizing the network is becoming more important day by day, not only for the reasons mentioned above, but also because it would also positively push forward the operation of the whole corporation.This thesis aims to collect and analyze the data of the networks in operation, to find out the factors that may influence the quality of network operation, and to achieve the best network running state by technology measures or parameter adjustment. In a word, we want to optimize the net-resources and to get the best-value. What's more, with the aim to amplify the clients'perception and win their appreciation, the thesis will lay great emphasis on solving the problems of end-and-end network operation, so that the network settings could be more reasonable and the network resource utilization be raised, while at the same time, the troubles be eliminated and risks be reduced. In this way, the network will gradually adapt to the new technologies and new services in the near future.Optimization software that are being used now still have more or less defects, because of which, the thesis wants to develop an integrated testing optimization software that could solve many urgent problems, enhance the work efficiency and optimize the working procedures. This software not only includes the basic functions of traditional wireless network optimization tools, but also has some new creative functions that are consistent with changing situations. We believe that these functions could provide strong and firm support for the enhancement of network quality and its performance. Besides, this platform can also provide testing services for multi-system and multiple terminals. It is optimized both in voice quality and data transformation, which means it is more efficient, stable, precise and user-friendly.In order to improve the software system, a Geographic-Information-System-Based (GIS-Based) small Optimization Software is designed. Working together with the Automatic DT System, which collects the data and pictures, the software can analyze the data fast and directly. With the help of this software, problems can be found immediately and scientific evidence is provided to assist the personnel to improve the network converge and optimize the network. Thus, the capacity, quality, economic benefits and competitiveness of the whole network can be all improved, and finally the need of the customers can be satisfied, too.At the very beginning of the thesis, basic knowledge about mobile-communication network is introduced, following which is some information about the major works of network-optimization and related technical points, then the designing ideas, key technology and practical methods are laid out. Last but not least, the software is operated in a specific project and shows a good performance, from which we can see its value in practical operation. |
