Most of the radio navigation systems of the domestic civil airport are imported imported equipments. Many problems exist in training, basic materials, spare parts. Equipment operation and management also remain at low-level management, particularly in the fault diagnosis of the problem, using the manual investigation is inefficient.Based on the existing radio navigation equipment of the Panzhihua Airport, we design a centralized monitoring system. Various parameters for the dispersed radio navigation signals were collected geographically for centralized monitoring, witch helps the operator for equipment maintenance control the equipment condition in real time. The Aim of this system is to improve the safety factor and efficiency of the equipment operation, and to achieve the unattended operation of radio navigation station.This design is running in the Panzhihua Airport. Because the signal acquisition does not destroy the existing navigation system, the security can be ensured. The equipment (DVOR4000) failure happened on March 2010. The operator for equipment maintenance diagnosed the fault according to the fault phenomena and the equipment failure was removed.
