| In recent years, the game industry has shown rapid growth momentum of game art outsourcing and game development projects in proportion year after year. Yet precisely because of this excessive growth, it leads to the original type of violent management model unable to meet the growing needs of the actual projects. As an advanced and scientific management technology, Project Management has been widely used in game art outsourcing enterprises. However, the difficulty of project management is widespread phenomenon among the small and medium enterprises. Project management is faced with communication gap between company departments, frequent changes in project planning, limitations of human resources and making it difficult to control the progress of project tasks and other issues.This thesis on the background of net informationize development strategy required by Pearl Digital Entertainment– PDE, uses the content of modern project management theory as the theoretical basis, and analyzes the widespread management problem of the present game art outsourcing companies, then combines with the basic demands of project management system from the real enterprise's business process management. After a full investigation and demand analysis, the Normandy project management system which is based on RIA(Rich Internet Application)technology is proposed to meet the company's needs to achieve aim of project management, and achieve the aims of visualization on project processing, information on project management and cost control of project resources.On this basis of starting from the nature of project management that has been designed and implemented to the project basic information management, project member management and project task management functions modules, this thesis will study and research several key technologies of this project management system e.g. Using of the latest popular RIA model, using MySQL as the back-end database management system, application Adobe Flex as the RIA mode front end development tool, combined with Spring as the back end middleware framework, using flash to create dynamic links, using iBatis for data access under the J2EE framework. Some features of the current module of the system under development, Accompanied by the rapid game art outsourcing industry progress and the continuous development of software technology, the new demands and the corresponding function will be continuous to the system. Therefore, in the end part of the thesis, a number of views and expectations have been made to the software project management system. |
