With the expanding use of RF wireless data communication technology, RF wireless communication systems research and development has become one of hot research direction. The current applications are mainly based on the form of single chip and RF transceiver chip, but with the constant development of electronic technology, system on Chip (SOC) technology is developing. Now this technology is being gradually applied to the RF wireless communication area, put forward the concept of wireless microcontroller. In this paper, using CC1110 radio SOC which produced by TI, we designed a common development platform which can be applied to active RFID, data acquisition and wireless transmission.At present the books of PC program design methods and structures are more than the books of single chip, The reason is, compared with the PC program, microcontroller relatively simple procedure to achieve the function, also small scale. However, with the development of technology, MCU application program becomes more and more complex. So in this paper, we also studied the modular design method in the system software design.The main works of this paper are as follows:1. It Subject to the context of the development of wireless communications, research and use CC1110 radio SOC design can be applied to active RFID, data acquisition and wireless transmission of a common development platform. The platform includes a external data storage chip,RS232 communications functions,and a large number of data packet wireless transmission functions, furthermore provided a low-power mode approach using software.2. In the system hardware design, IIC bus technology used to solve the problem of data off-chip memory, and use of serial communication technology and RS-232 communication protocol to solve the problem of the 232 Communications, this paper designed a interface circuit communicate with the CC1110 and Memory chips 24C02 and RS-232 communications chip MAX3232,besides it studied the work method of interface chip.3. In the system software designing, this paper simulated the IIC interface in CC1110 using software, on the base of it, completed the storage chip's reading and writing; programed with CC1110's UART work mode to achieve the function of communicate with computer serial port, completed the function of large amounts of data packet transmission, researched the low-power.
