In the network security system applying cryptography (such as encrypting machine, IP-VPN Gateway, CA and so on), the speed of encrypting and decrypting becomes increasingly higher, but it can still not meet the requirement of network security communication. This paper proposes an efficient solution that applies the technology of fault tolerance, real time and paralleling technique with multi-encrypting-card. The solution can improve the performance of whole network security system, and it can also be applied in other secure system (such as cipher gateway).This paper presents fault tolerance, real time and parallel techniques, and discusses the solution first. Then we propose a system model about the solution and analyze its implementing and communicating mechanism. The technique of driver design and implementing is discussed. In addition the main module of the solution is implemented. Ant fault tolerance and real time are pursued. Finally the paper analyzes its performance.
