| In the traditional ways of memorizing words, most of people adopt mechanical memory, that is to say, remembering words by rote. But this mean of memorizing words always makes us forget the words frequently. The words associative memory system which is designed and implemented based on the semantic is mainly for student's learning and memorizing English words and experiencing the use of English words which have been learned. Compared with the existing software platform in memorizing English words, this system realizes associative memory through associating the sounds, forms, righteousness and scene among the words. And in the study, it makes use of variational games, animation, graphics and other elements to strengthen students' association of words, to enhance understanding and memory of words, to complete the purposes of feeling and experiencing of the English language. This platform has elaborately designed the organization of the resources, scene interaction, the cooperation of many people and other interactive learning behaviors. All of these above really reflect the curriculum concepts of "learner-centered". Meanwhile, this platform provides human pronunciation and human interaction to help to improve learners' skills of listening, speaking, reading and writing.The interface design of beautification is an important part of UI technologies in this platform. We have designed this platform's interface based on the understanding of basic knowledge about aesthetic and application of the knowledge of graphic design. In order to keep platform interface aesthetics while using various browsers, the platform is based on a more advanced technology of CSS + DIV to position in the layout. This technology provides a convenient way for various browsers'reading, makes the entire site space-consuming decrease, speeds up browsing pages, and reduces the maintenance work at the same time.In the situation of the rapid development of Internet technology and its application, developing and applying the word memory platform has become the mainstream and development tendency of learning English. By researching and analyzing the Web service mode, the thesis puts forward each function module and data requirements while realizing a platform. And based on the B/S structure, the thesis has designed and implemented a plan of associative memory platform for students to learn English words.This thesis mainly shows the interface of platform login, the registered user interface, the interface of entering to study, the knowledge of words interface, the interface of associative search, the association of similar words interface, the association of classification interface, the interface of searching questions, video classifier learning interface, and my own learning interface, etc. By summarizing the experience gained while developing this system, we find that the platform might be extended to phone and the other services according to the demands of users and characteristics of students. That is to say, the students may learn English words through mobile games. If this can be a success, this system will have more practical value and gain a broader market prospect. |
