Ria Technology-based Enterprises Collaborative Office Systems Development

The development of economy globalization not only leads to a world wild tendency of collaboration between enterprises, but also generates the requirements of information-based collaboration. But, the information system existing can't meet the requirement of cross-industry information-based collaboration between enterprises. It is because these systems are industry targeted and don't provide enough tool to assist collaboration. So, based on experience in building Enterprise Cooperative Work System, the author does research on how to build industry-independent Enterprise Cooperative Work System. The research in this paper is listed as follows:1. Based on actual project, the author represents the requirements of Enterprise Cooperative Work System in detail, and then does a deep research to them and, in the end, summaries the modules in the system and the relationship between them.2. Do research to the theories and technologies in the CSCW field. And also do research to the existing systems in the CSCW field, concluding their advantages and shortcomings, which can act as lessons for the proposed system.3. Based on design guild lines such as user friendly, load-balance and loosely coupled relationship, the author suggests system architecture which is based on Flex, Cairngorm, Spring and Hibernate. He explains the architecture and its merits in detail.4. Explain how to design and implement task management module and briefing document module in detail. Task management module is responsible for task assignment, task tracking and task management. And briefing document should maintain plenty of information and support exclusive editing. During explanation, the author puts the implementation flow of functions, the advantages and shortcomings of different approaches and the power of Flex in particular. Besides this, the author also points out and analyzes the defects of Flex.The achievements of this paper are based on the actual experience of implementing Enterprise Cooperative Work System. They have value for extension and application.
