Since 1990s, the variety of the overall socio-cultural context, and its influence and requirements on the production of television programs, together with its impact and rebuilding of the audience psychology, made the host image planning and shaping changed accordingly. This thesis inquires into the host image and its limitations and solutions according to the social and cultural context; the relationship between the problem of audience psychological expectation and host Image modeling, etc.Firstly, diversified exploring and positioning of host image modeling under the overall socio-cultural context, in this way, could provide a good reference for the understanding of the host image particularity and make the host image planning and shaping more effective undoubtedly, and also can expand our understanding horizon of the host image and the relationship between the social and cultural context and the host image.Secondly, researching the characteristics of the audience with the change of social context, readers' psychology and the differentiation of audience, could provide the possibility of we understanding and interpreting the audience identity of host image and precipitating the variation of Host Image Speech System.Finally, the audience have different expectations, requires and evaluation standards on the hosts of variety host programs. Therefore, analyzing the host Image, need to be discussed separately. We collect statistics by questionnaire, start by media classical case, then introspect, propose that under the new media context, the host-qualities are not personal problems, but the problems with groups. These problems mainly display in the following:Increasingly career fashionalization, vulgar programs, Weird host images, Lack of creativity and Poor language abilities. Meanwhile, proposing the methods to solve these problems as follows:make the host image'humanize' 'specialize' 'personalize'and'branding'.
