In the new age that knowledge economy has become the mainstream of the social economy, knowledge service is the motive force of the library sustainable development. Both at home and in abroad, taking broadcast the knowledge as the main task, the college library put effort to meet the demand for knowledge in each historical period. If the library want to meet the new era of the situation, it must develop with the science and technology. The researches about the knowledge service are more,but studies of the combination of the knowledge service and college library are less.And the researches of which the depth is insufficient,the range is narrow,and most are about the theory aspect. specially only less contents are about the practices of knowledge service without deep analyze and research according to the characteristics of the college library.On the basis of the situation,the article take the library of Tangshan college as the example to survey and research the knowledge service.First part, comb out the relative theories of knowledge service of college library,and make clear the definition,the feature,the content of the knowledge service.Second part, from the three aspects of the knowledge service of college library, that is to face to the need of the science course, the education, and the society, the author analyze the present situation and the need of the readers of the library of Tangshan college and identify shortcomings and try to improve better.Third part, the author propose the advice to the knowledge service of college library,and try to find out the suit model for it. And according to the realize and the need of the readers,put the effort on the study of the dynamic knowledge service system that take the service for the course as the core.and other ways as the media and integration format. and fatherly the last part explore how should the service take forward, hoping to give advice and help theorically and practically for the college.
