Image codec according to market subdivision:mainly divided into radio television and monitor device. Due to the different field application of device requirements are different. Monitor market demands in limited communications bandwidth transmitted on the most high quality images. At the same time, delay, continuous, jitter and networking ability request is higher. Radio and television field require transmission device can network, television image signal back, image quality rank high, support various value-added services, etc. This design is for radio and television field, can satisfy the monitor field.This design is mainly aims at based on VWEB the chip VW2010 MPEG4/MPEG2 encoder's design. The hard core uses VWEB Corporation's VW2010 code compression chip, this chip video frequency supports MPEG-1,-2,-4 either the H.263 form, the audio frequency support MPEG-1, MP3, ACC or AC-3 and G.711, G.726, forms and so on G.729. The control chip uses Infineon 32/16 MIPS324Kc processor—ADM5120. Video uses the AD's high precision and the high performance target ADV7183 video decoder.Audio frequency ADC uses the AD1871 chip of 24Bit. Main chip ADM5120 and between CODEC chip VW2010 uses the PCI bus, The highest single-channel TS class can catch 20M. Inputs and the output interface adopt the CPLD/FPGA, this design is satisfied with each kind of connection of the videocast, the analog CVBS, component video S-Video, audio, digital video SDI, the output has ASI, TS, SPI,4E1, DS3/E3 interface. The application software are base on the LINUX system.Now this product already through the strict target performance test, smoothly obtained the net certificate. The performance and in the engineering factor is better. Considered that the Chinese market the characteristic and the application environment, the performance price compares with the technical service. The product stable reliable performance, the redundancy design satisfies the broad electricity market the request, succeeds in many television stations, in the television network moves. This product can also apply in the monitoring, in the high speed monitoring, the orbital transportation field.
