With the constantly promotes and developments of the education reform, teaching reform has been paid for much more attention by more and more teachers. At the same time, with the increasing needs of applied people, the reform of vocational education can not be ignored any more. As an advanced teaching method, case teaching combines theories with practice, emphasizes in the subjectivity of students and trains students comprehensive practical abilities and innovation spirits. It is able to conform to the aim requirements of vocational education. Using case teaching in the basic computer teaching can make up for the shortcomings of traditional teaching and improve the teaching effects obviously. Therefore, this thesis makes a deep research about the application of case teaching method used in the basic computer teaching of secondary vocational school form theory and practice.First of all, this paper takes the literature studying way to analyses the relevant literature documents materials of case teaching at home and abroad, learns positive and reasonable ideologies, which offers a great number of theoretical bases. Then, the author explores a common process of the application of case teaching in the basic computer teaching of secondary vocational school through the author s own experiences and communications with the other computer teachers. Finally, using examples and teaching experiments to prove that case teaching method is indeed an effective way for computer teaching.This thesis consists of five parts. The first part is introduction. It presents the background, significance, methods and ideas of the research. The second part illustrates the relevant concepts that case teaching involves, and analyzes the basic theories of computer case teaching. The third part mainly talks about the common process of the case teaching in the secondary vocational and technical education computer teaching. In this part, the author chiefly uses their own practical experiences and exchanges of teachers to make the related conclusions. The fourth part, the author lists a lot of examples and experiments to prove that the case teaching is really a very suitable way in computer basic teaching. The fifth part:summary and outlook. The character is tics and defects of the paper and has much confidence with the future of the vocational education.
