Automatic stage machinery control system is a grand science and art system which is a multi-disciplinary, multiple interface combination of stage machinery, power electronic technology, network technology, TV technology, acoustics, aesthetics and so on. Recently, the automation equipment of stage machinery and the motion control has become an important research subject. These countries , Germany, Japan, Britain, the United States and so on, have specialized manufacturers and related research institutes which has a long history, rich experience, the products of higher quality, but relatively expensive price. Hence, if developing a set of automatic stage machinery control system which is technologically advanced and stable and reliable, we can not only save costs and reduce national investment, but also promote development of stage machinery industry.At present, from the level of design, the whole process, control performance and investment costs, there is still some distance between China and Europe in the automation equipment of stage machinery. So, that, being based on China's national conditions, we research and develop the automation equipment of stage machinery and motion control which is high-performance and lowcost , has certain practical value.In this paper, aiming at the configuration scheme of the main stage of large-scale ballet"Thousand-hand Bodhisattva", I select and compose of hardware; and connection of control circuidiscuss. and how to use PLC to accomplish the control strategy that using fuzzy PID to control multiple motor which is synchronous; and writing of PLC control program; and apply the monitoring interface of VB software design system. Finally, we must make the the control system of stage machinery developed be in accordance with quotation of the configuration scheme of the main stage of large-scale ballet"Thousand-hand Bodhisattva"; For example, operation index, synchronous precision, stable performance, grouping operation, scene control and safety reliability etc. In the end of the article, I summarize the main work of this paper, and analyze the problems existing in the system, and discuss the improved aspect.In this system, I adopt the whole control project which involves in DEMAG DR-3 electric hoist, and the Italian SEIMEC HFF63B4B3 type brake motor, and the monitoring interface of VB software design system, and Siemens S7-200 PLC, and industrial PC of Yanxiang, and Siemens inverter, and VACON inverter, and increment photoelectric encoder of Omron. Thereby, it can monitor spatial stance of stage, and realize the automatic control and manual control of complicated movements. Besides, I use PLC to accomplish the control strategy that using fuzzy PID to control multiple motor which is synchronous. After completed, the stage is performed continuously for nine days in National Grand Theater of China, and for two weeks in QingNianGong performing arts center of Taiyuan, these performance proved that the control project is perfect, and have no fault, and meets anticipation.
