Download And Its Behavior

The world had unexpectedly being a downloadful existence because of internet. People in different culture downloaded different things, which expanded the gaps of inter-cultural ideologies. Their value effect obviously differed from each other, some were respected, some were criticized and others were just ignored. Therefore, we could conclude that the word was somehow being downloaded and more attention should be paid to the production and creation of download communication.This paper ,combining - both qualitative and quantitative research, was mainly based on a variety of relevant documents and lately research achievements at home and abroad, targeted "downloading" in the environment of internet, especially focusing on the form and function of download communication and its social behavior. This paper firstly overviewed downloads behavior; summarized the four characteristic systems of download communication; constructed demand levels of download in the theoretical context of communication. Then this paper analyzed the functional influence of download behavior, including of production function, communication function, option function and constraint function; the positive/negative impact of download behavior, such as information gap, information burden, self-alienation, memory problems and narrowing information problems. The achievement includes the conclusion that download behavior highly reflects the awareness initiative; the proposition of the steps and frameworks of the construction of demand levels of download; multidimensional analysis of the character of download behavior in the manner of material form, mind structure, behavior and institutional norms; the establishment of the analysis application system; analysis of the functional impact of download behavior via some morphological characterization of production function, communication function, option function and constraint function. In the improving soil of communication, we hope download behavior can develop in a balanced way and make positive influences.The creative sides of this paper perhaps could be depicted as a combination of an innovative conception, a good try of model-constructing, an integration of multi-discipline, and historical research. From the perspective of the topic, it was about downloading in the context of internet, through analyzing the practice of information communication, emphasized on the positive functions and constraint influences which made to the whole communication environment. It was the first time in documents at home and abroad that "download", the internet tool, and its behavioral mechanism had been chosen as the research objective, and been studied systematically like that. As a result the topic was fairly avant-garde. On the second hand, this paper constructed the model of download demand levels, and the inverted U-shaped curve to explain the relevance between information procession and information overloading, which helped to analyze the interactive mechanism between downloading and actors, thus we were able to grasp the abstract concept via these specific models. In addition, the survey also proved to be very useful to expand the connotation and denotation of this study.
