Development, Grails-based System Of Insurance Documents

With continuous growth of reform and opening up, every large insurance company is faced with severe challenges from intensifying competition of global insurance industry. Insurance documentation is an important carrier through the various processes of company operation, which influences management situation of whole company to some extent. As Kanghua insurance company, the module function of core business system is too simple to have efficient management of insurance documentation, so there are many problems such as substandard inventory management, documents using out of control, leading to high administrative cost and real cost, bringing economic loss and risk. Under double pressures of requirements of strengthening documentation management from China Insurance Regulatory Commission and continuous management problems within company, as for Kanghua insurance company, being able to quickly set up a documentation management information system in a short time is extremely urgent.Firstly, the current situation and problems of documentation management in the process of business management of Kanghua insurance company is analyzed and the necessity of developing documentation management system based on Grails is definite. On that basis, the main functions of the system is discussed, and the main processes of alarm trigger, application and providing, printing to store are analyzed, then the system architecture is analyzed, and the core subsystem such as alarm indicator management, application management and printing management are designed in detail. Based on Grails, it is discussed especially how to use the structure characteristics and dynamic characteristics of Groovy to complete efficient development, when developing core subsystem of printing management, and it is made a comparison with currently popular J2EE development framework. Finally, the development and application of documentation system is summarized.
