This paper describes the design and implementation of general-purpose test dyno forautomatic transmission.Usually the automatic transmission is controlled by the solenoidwhich drives the oil to determine the different clutch connection, in order to achievedifferent conversion ratios. According to the principle of universal automatic transmissioncontrol, we designed this test system. The test system is the device with the collection of force electricity, weak electricityand mechanization, which is composed of a multi-part assembly test bench, consolecontrol systems, data acquisition systems, PC control systems and other components. The hardware of the test system is mainly composed by mechanical testingbench(including power output, load regulation), signal acquisition and control board.Acquisition and control system consist of the signal shaping board, PCI acquisition andcontrol board and industrial PC,and it includes the acquisition of speed, solenoid valvecurrent, oil pressure, torque of test bench and PWM control signal. The software test system is based on NI company’s LabWindows/CVI,which is usedas the development platform, running on Windows XP or Windows7system. Thecomputer system consists of the PCI driver development, friendly and simple interface,multi-thread technology, ActiveX and Excel interface technology, digital filter, andrealizes the real-time display of speed, pressure data, the drawing of curve, the control ofsolenoid valve, data saving and printing reports and other functions.
