As known to all, in China, the top ten TV columns that Chinese people paid the mostattention to in2013included nine TV entertainment programs.“Network News Broadcast” wasthe unique news program. At the list of the top ten TV columns, Hunan TV occupied fourplaces—“Where Are We Going, Dad?”,“I’m A Singer”,“X Factor” and “Super Boy”. DragonTV had two TV programs were selected—“Chinese Idol” and “China’s Got Talent”. Obviously,entertainment TV programs have become the most important means to enhance the competitiveability and catch more audiences’ attention for Chinese TV channels.Even though the State Administration of Radio, Film and Television had made a new rule“the opinion about strengthen management over the Domestic Satellite Integrative Channel” tolimit the broadcast of the entertainment programs. Research indicates that there are still19entertainment programs are broadcast at prime time on TV. Entertainment programs are still themost influential type of TV program, and the number is increasing, the type is becoming moreand more plentiful. However, the development of entertainment program is so rapidly that havecaused a lot of problems. The standard of the programs are the good and bad are intermingled.The quality of the programs is bad and lack of aesthetic perception. Some of them have broughtnegative influence to our country’s development of economic and culture.By the end of the year2013, Hunan TV as the pioneer of entertainment program had earned111champions that have the highest ratings. With the management philosophy “Producehappiness, Make fashion”, Hunan TV becomes an ageless channel in the stage of entertainmentprogram. From “Happy Camp” to “Where Are We Going, Dad?”, Hunan TV is always in thetop place. Hunan TV is always analyzes people’s living situation and catch the societydevelopment trend to make the best program. Hunan TV has set a good model for the otherprovincial TV channels. Making the best TV columns is to portray the brand image for the TVcolumns. With the market becoming more and more complicated, it is very important for theTV programs to make the new and unique brand image. It is a matter of principle with the TVmedia’s development prospect and communication prestige. It’s TV packing that design a seriesof marketing strategy for entertainment program is good for making a Brand Column.This article will take example of the typical entertainment programs to analyze the packingstrategies to find the development direction. And reach a conclusion that TV program packing isa method for promoting the competitive strength. In the meantime, give the other entertainmentprograms a lead.
