Or more exactly speaking, it’s a set of wireless communication standards used for contactless identifying and bridging between mobile devices, consumer electronic devices, personal computer and smart controllers. Due to its simplicity and convenient contactless characteristic, it shows a bright future for applications on the smartphones.Power supply is always a must for mobile electronic devices. When a NFC device plays the reader or peer-to-peer initiator role in a communication, it draws the energy from the batteries. Obviously, a low power and high sensitivity receiver can maximally reduce the power dissipation for NFC applications. This work just focuses on the design solutions of a low power and high sensitivity NFC receiver chip in the passive mode and has designed and verified one version of this kind of NFC receiver to fulfill this purpose.Firstly, some NFC related basics including background, development status in domestic and abroad, future trend etc are presented. Then, NFC standards are introduced. A NFC carrier cancelling receiver architecture was put forward and a detailed theoretic carrier cancelling capability and sensitivity improvement analysis was performed. Afterwards, a simulation verification was conducted on the ADS platform. At last, based on the theoretic analysis and design of the system, the building blocks of the system including Down/Up Conversion Mixer, Integrator, Low Pass Filter were designed, simulated and verified. In the end, a soft-ware defined NFC device was realized based on the LabVIEW and NI PXIe1065platform. And the carrier cancelling capability and sensitivity performance were tested and verified for this receiver. The results was in accord with the theory. | | Keywords/Search Tags: | NFC, RFID, Receiver, high sensitivity, Carrier Cancelling, ADS, Mixer, LabVIEW, NI PXIe1065, Integrator, Low pass filter | PDF Full Text Request | Related items |
