Power line carrier communication load high-speed data transmission on the power signal pathway, and thus has poor working conditions, serious interference, time-varying and so on; Signals are prone to reflection, standing waves, resonance phenomena.while the signal is very prone to reflection, standing waves, resonance phenomena,which make the attenuation characteristics of the signal is extremely complex, resulting in power line carrier communication channel with a strong freque-ncy selective. Although there are some modeling of power line channel characteristics such as multipath propagation path delay and signal with transmission distance and frequency attenuation. However, the time variability and complexity of the PLC cha-nnel to cause the measures differently, so that different investigators has different model of n the best path to communicate in PLC, therefore could not form a unified model. So it is necessary to achieve a device to detect the characteristics of power line channel, to find the the PLC channel real situation and assess the accuracy of the eac h models.With the deepening of power line carrier communication many researchs of algo-rithms in PLC that come out, it is necessary to design a power line carrier communicat ion platform to assess the practical value of a communication algorithm.Taking all these factors, the design uses EP4SE530H35development platform as the main controller, using250MSPS ADC AD9481to collect data, using125MSPS digital-to-analog converter AD9740to send the data. At the same time supplemented wide broadband and high output current opa AD8047as front-end amplification and low-power high-speed AD8012as filters and analog-to-digital conversion differential input.
