In recent years, school safety education gets more attention from our country.China locates on the earthquake-prone zone. In order to ensure the safety of teachersand students and improve their safety awareness when the sudden earthquake comes,,The Ministry of Education requires schools organize students to make an emergencyevacuation training to ensure students can avoid the threat of non-seismic factors andevacuate to safe areas timely. However, since there are no real earthquake scenarios inthe emergency evacuation training organized by schools, most students experienceless tension and the training does not play the desired effect. And when the schoolorganizes emergency evacuation, it needs to put a lot of personnel to ensure the safetyof students during an emergency evacuation. If the organization is not in place, thestampede will occur, resulting in danger. As a result, the school usually will reduce ornot conduct evacuation training. Regular emergency evacuation training can form aconditioned reflex to make the students form conscious behavioral responses to fleefrom the danger zone when an earthquake occurs.Virtual reality technology can provide safe, convenient, inexpensive, realisticand interactive virtual earthquake scene for trainers to seismic escape and evacuationdrills. In this paper, it can simulate the earthquake and evacuation scenarios based onvirtual reality technology studying virtual earthquake evacuation drill simulationsystem, enabling students to apply this system to face house shaking, falling objectsand people running fled the scene during the earthquake drill and make real-timeescape decisions according to the state of the scene.In this paper, the virtual earthquake evacuation drill simulation system is studiedand the following results are obtained: first, model facing the virtual scene theearthquake needs; second, the simulation for the process of Earthquake; third, thesimulation for crowd dispersal. In the scenario modeling, the following are achieved: modeling of the house and characters in the scene, modeling of trees and roadssurrounding houses. In the simulation of earthquake process the following are proposed:highly real-time shaking simulation model、the four-dimensional rigid freemotion model of detached houses on the top floor. For evacuation simulation itincludes researches in three aspects: the intelligent model of pedestrian movementand control based on visual perception-pedestrian, namely VSK agent、trainees escapemotion control method、the crowd evacuation method based on text commands andvoice guidance. The earthquake evacuation drill system simulation designed in thispaper almost completely shows the whole process of emergency evacuation. It provides new drill methods and environments for emergency evacuation drill trainingof schools.
