Military laser is generally applied in the battlefield environment, due to the own factors of the laser and the interference of the battlefield environment, after long distance transmission, the optical axis may jitter, which will affect the accuracy of the laser irradiation. This paper designs a system to test the stability of the laser farfield optical axis, which is based on the theory of the photographic surveying.First, this paper points out the cause of the jitter of the laser optical axis, and disguesses the advantages of the photographic surveying compared with traditional measurement methods, which is based on the CCD camera.what’ more, this paper also talks about the parameters to evaluate the stability of the laser optical axis.Secondly, the paper introduces the basic principle of the whole test system and the design thought of each subsystem.In terms of hardware system, this paper solved the problem of the synchronous acquisition of laser facula images, which makes the acquisition system can coll-ect continuous laser facula images in real-time and integrallty; At the same time, through the establishment of mathematical model, this paer simulates the laser energy loss in the process of transmission process, and gets the parameters of the optical system, such as focal length and diameter. In terms of algorithm, this paper makes a detailed introduction of the facula image processing algorithms and facula center location algorithm, contrasts the pros and cons of the facula center location algorithms, and selectes the least square circle fitting method as the final center localization algorithm. In the aspect of software system, this paper designs the acquisition control software of the CCD camera and the analysis of laser facula image processing software.In addition, this article also analyses the system error sources of the whole system and points out the measurement method of the systematic errors.Finally, inside the lab, we set up two sets of simulation system to simulate the principle and the testing process of the system respectively.The two simulation systems are principle demo system and field simulation system. Demo system mainly simulate and verify the design principle of testing system, field simulation system mainly test the laser optical axis which is disturbed under the condition of the simulation of the atmospheric transmission. The two simulation systems are both physical simulation systems. We analyzed the stability of the lasers’s optical axis based on the laser facula images, which are used in the simulation systems, what’s more, we also correct the system error of the measuring result.
