Research On Application Of Surround Sound In High - Definition TV Program

With the coming of high frequency television, China has made many correspondingregulations and standards on video frequency. Both the resolution and size oftelevision pictures have improved greatly. We’ve got real visual effects of highfrequency now. But what about the auditory effects? As everybody knows, theinternational HD audio is surround which our country hasn’t yet put into thestandards of accompanying sound. As a result, the sound and pictures are out ofbalance. And this I think has already blocked the progress of the development ofChina’s high frequency television. For the above problem, I’d like to make someanalysis on the importance of sound in television programs according to the use ofsurround which has brought out changes in the relationship between sound and pictures,sound design and application of aesthetics. This essay aims at helping the producersto change their ideas in sound production and have a better understanding towardsthe connotation of high frequency television so as to improve the quality of ourhigh frequency television programs, hoping that I can provide some theoretical basison the urgency and necessity of surround standards on high frequency television ofour country.
