| As a research hotspots technology Wireless Sensor Networks based on multiples technology including semiconductor technology, Micro-Electro-Mechanism System and communication technology.Due to its huge application prospect has attracted much attention on academia and industry. But there are many limitations of traditional wireless sensor network in computing, storage, supply and communication capabilities. Especially, the inherent defects of traditional sinusoidal carrier communication cannot meet the requirements of sensor nodes, such as low cost,low power consumption,anti-jamming and low design complexity.UWB is just a wireless communication technology satisfied all requirements.The technology has special advantage in dense multipath environments. Moreover, low probability of detection, exceptional multipath immunity, large space transmission capacities, lower powers spectral densities and higher bit rate make UWB has huge potential in WSN.In these researches and applications background this thesis combined with the National Natural Science Foundation and Jiangxi Provincial Depart-ment of Education Science and Technology Project to study in this way.1. After consulting a great deal of relevant literature and analyzing the research situation and prospects of WSN and UWB, the technical line of ultra-wideband wireless sensor network technology is summed up. In accordance with these technologies routes, the UWB wireless sensor network node design as the direction of this study.2. In the analysis of UWB characteristic, according to the pulse shaping, pulse modulation PAM, PPM, BPSK and multiple access technology such asTH-PPM, TH-PAM, DS-PAM, DS-BPSK, to conduct in-depth research foundation, study and find out DS BPSK binary phase shift keying (DS-BPSK) modulation anti-multipath performance is stronger than TH-PPM modulation mode in pulse jump (TH) combined with pulse position modulation (PPM).3. This thesis designed a new UWB wireless sensor network. The model of UWB was deseribed in detail. And summarized the whole research and analyzed the flaw of UWB wireless sensor network with MAC and routing arithmetic. Then a proposition was made to the next phase work.4. In the nodal point design of wireless sensor network based on UWB, the transmit/receive machine as a wireless communication module is particularly important. This thesis put forward the method of using avalanche transistor produce Gaussian pulse, design and simulation the UWB narrow pulse emission circuit. On this basis,researched and analysised of four types of receiving technology.Completed the design method of UWB receiver and transmitter.5. Rake receiver performance emulate results in MATLAB was analyzed. Influence factors as follows different channels, different types of Rake receiver and different merger way. The results show that three factors have direct effects on the Rake receiving performance.6. This paper studies around the main line of simple, low cost and low power design, based on the development of UWB wireless sensor network technology useful to explore and try. Finally, this paper summarized the research work and analyzed the deficiencies exist in the system design.
