Research And Analysis On The Management System Of Student Status Of Ningbo Health Vocational And Technical College

Student Information System (SIS) constitutes an indispensible part within school management, recording in detail the status of students from their enrollment to graduation. With a growing population of the student enrollment in recent years, our college witnesses a soaring number of students on campus as well as a surge of student data. Existing manual and semi-automated office processing conventions have been outdated to ensure the management. Developing the SIS with updated functionality and content-based configuration for the practical management of the school is therefore expected to realize the digitalized information and network administration of the SIS as well as the efficiency and effectiveness of the management.This paper introduces the SIS in terms of its literature, research background, significance of the project, and current application, in which the research objective and procedure have been elaborated. The practical operation analysis consists of the examination of existing problems, organizations and existing flow of work, which suggest the enhanced flow of management. The functionality analysis incorporates the SIS function-based infrastructure of which the embedded modules include student information, enrollment registration, status change, vocational pathways, and graduation verification. The data analysis deals with the statistics of the findings, in which the E-R chart is produced to structurize the database table. At the end of the paper a natural conclusion has been drawn to summarize the research and analysis, and the prospects and implications are proposed.
