| Coaxial collinear antenna is mainly used for wind profiling radars which obtain their echoes from turbulent inhomogeneities in the atmospheric radio refractive index field. The American has excogitated wind profiler radars observing winds in the bondary layer,troposphere and so on. The wind profiling radars not only been extensively applied for civil weather service but also applied for military affairs. For example,in amarican there are many kinds of ball bearing radar, every ball bearing radar equipped with a kind of profiling radar. a profiling radar net were set up in middle part of America and Alaskan,including 32 profiling radars in 404MHz and 3 profiling radars of LAP3000.Coaxial collinear antenna is widely applied because of it’s low cost,high gains and high reliability. Recent years,the troposphere profiling radar and boundary layer profiling radar were investigated in our country.our institute has manufactured the first coaxial collinear antenna for our country. it’s low price and stable perfermance are welcome. this kind antenna is introduced here. |
