Distributed And Heterogeneous Engineering Database Information System Technology Research

Recently, with the development of new science and technology mainly based on computer technology, the computer software and hardware have developed quickly. The modern technology of Internet has also offered a kind of technical platform with globalization information system. So the engineering database information system can not be restricted to one enterprise or area. We can utilize the technology of Internet communication technology to put the old engineering databases together, and form a new share environment of global engineering database information system. From the point of tendency and the present situation of engineering database and its information system, there exist some problems. We can summary as following: 1) Model problem of system design. The traditional design method of system can not satisfy the database information system, which establishes on modern Internet network foundation. Therefore we need a kind of new mechanism to guidance us to design the system. 2) Heterogeneity problem of engineering database. This heterogeneity not only exists in computer hardware platform and operation system and network connection, but also exists in the DBMS in which it covers from the conception model to the physical model which cause the deference in date type and data structure. 3)The integrated problem of engineering database information system. In Complex distribution and heterogeneity environment, how to highly protect user resource, how to "transparently"across the heterogeneity network and computer platform, how to realize the connection of heterogeneity DBS and source sharing and how to make the system have higher flexibility and extensibility. All those have become the keys of the development of engineering information system. 4) The intelligent problem existing in information system. Therefor, we put foreword a kind of heterogeneity and hierarchy mechanism to solve the model problem of system design. We also take advantage of the technology of CORBA and Agent in field of solving the system problem of distribution and heterogeneity and extensibility. Then on analyzing and studying some crucial technology (CORBA technology, multi-Agent joint technology, the combination technology of Agent and CORBA, integration of CORBA and Internet), we design a kind of multi-Agent coalition based on CORBA. It can help the system to rationally deal with information, to plan the client's task and to harmonize the relationship of medium. CORBA ORB as the soft-bus of the system, it can satisfy the system's need in flexibility and extensibility. We also preliminary set up a structure model of Distribute and Heterogeneous Engineering Database Information System. Finally, we study the tendency of Database Information System.
