| With information technology applied in today's enterprises, integration of all applications is needed. Integration of CAD/CAPP is a base of broader integration, which is very important to realize information age in enterprises. But the design feature models of current CAD systems aren't completely fit for integration of CADICAPP. Therefore, the conversion technology from a design model to a machining model and related theories play a practical role.This thesis discusses the related technology of feature conversion from design feature to machining feature in details after analyzing the defects of current modeling methods. These are involved in both the whole system frame and the system development details. Author makes use of the method of feature conversion based on design feature to construct the whole system frame, which can realize independent with the CAD system. This paper also tries to apply Component Object Model(COM) to the integration of different applications. The key of feature conversion----construction of conversion system rules are deeply researched and the development of Knowledge Base(KB) system is completed. Finally, this paper discusses the theories of multi-interpretation machining feature model that is the output of this conversion system, and has built the Feature Adjacency Graph and the And-Or Relation Graph which can meet the needs of all models. |
